Most people won't remember the linens.

They'll remember whether the toast could be heard in the back, whether the first dance started on time, and whether they went home with sore feet and a photo strip in their pocket. That's the job. Everything else is equipment.

Run of Show

A wedding lives or dies on its transitions.

Anyone can press play. The skill is knowing when to speak and when to disappear — how to get 180 guests seated without sounding like a gate agent, how to hand the mic to a nervous best man, how to move a room from dinner into dances without anybody feeling herded. Here is what a night actually looks like.

4:30 PM

Ceremony

Wireless lavalier and handheld mics, placed where the camera won't find them. Vows audible in the back row, no squeal of feedback. Processional cues timed to your walk instead of a guess.

5:15 PM

Cocktail Hour

Curated and volume-managed so people can actually hear each other. While the room turns over, the reception space gets set and lit, so nobody walks into a half-finished room.

6:30 PM

Dinner & Toasts

Introductions that land, toast handoffs that don't leave anyone stranded, and a mic your grandfather can hold without a coach. Coordinated live with your planner, photographer, and kitchen.

8:00 PM

First Dances

Songs edited to the length you actually want, not faded out mid-verse. Lighting pulls back to a single warm pool on the floor so the photos have somewhere to look.

8:30 PM

Open Floor

Your 82-year-old grandmother and your college roommates are at the same party, and both of them deserve a reason to stay. A decade of weddings across every age group teaches you how to move Motown into house and back without losing anyone.

9:00 PM

Photo Booth Opens

For the half of the room that loves the party but won't set foot on the floor. It opens when the room needs somewhere else to be — and because it runs on the same team as the music, it never opens while the floor is too good to interrupt.

11:00 PM

Last Song

Announced, not faded out. People should know the night is ending in time to be on the floor for it.

A sample evening, not a template. Yours gets built with you — must-plays, never-plays, family quirks, and all.

What's Included

Five services. One vendor. Nothing to coordinate the week of.

Not five companies trying to sync over email. One point of contact who owns the run of show from the processional to the last song.

01

DJ

Read live, not run off a locked playlist. Built from your must-play and do-not-play lists, request-friendly at your discretion, and mixed for the room in front of me. Every genre a mixed-age wedding needs — Motown, country, hip-hop, Latin, house, whatever your family dances to.

02

Master of Ceremonies

Introductions, toast handoffs, timeline cues, and live coordination with your planner, photographer, and venue. 10+ years on the mic — enough to know that the announcement nobody notices is the one that worked.

03

Sound

Ceremony audio with wireless lavalier and handheld mics, discreetly placed. A reception system tuned to the actual room, not the spec sheet. Backup gear on site, because a failure at 9 PM is not a story anyone wants.

04

Lighting

Dance floor lighting that moves with the music and pulls back to a single warm pool for the first dances. Planned around your venue in advance, so the room reads like a production, not a folding table with a laptop on it. [uplighting and monogram projection — confirm and list if you offer these]

05

Photo Booth

Printable Polaroid-style photos guests take home the same night — for the half of the room that loves the party but won't set foot on the floor. Included in the Gold package.

06

Planning

Complimentary video consultations and a run of show we build together instead of hand you. 24/7 support right up until the day of the wedding — you will never wonder where things stand or who to call.

The playlist gets us to nine o'clock. The floor tells us the rest.

Ten-plus years of weddings across every age group and every kind of crowd, from ballroom receptions to backyards. One wedding at a time, run start to finish by the person you booked.

Everything before the reception — the planning calls, the timeline, the color match on the uplighting — exists so that by 8:30 PM the only thing left to do is watch the floor and respond to it.
